The post-apocalyptic meme about coronavirus
The all-too-obvious literary meme during the crisis.
Explanation of the meme
In the window of a bookstore is the sign "Please note: The post-apocalyptical fiction section has been moved to Current Affairs." informing readers that the current crisis is actually a literary genre too.
What is the joke?
The end of the world is a current event. Because of the whole virus thing that is killing people. It is really not that hard of a joke to understand.
What book/character/author is being referred to here?
Is coronavirus a character yet? Or are we going to wait for a story to be written that is an analogy to the virus?
Did I get this at first?
Yeah. I haven't been living under a rock. I have been living inside for the past month, which is very different.
