Tea - One Word Prompt

Tea - One Word Prompt

The word that you have to include in this prompt is "tea"

TEA

Tea is the less aggressive friendlier brother of Coffee. It doesn't mind picking you up when you need a ride, or covering for you when you have no money. Tea has a sophistication his brother Coffee will never have. Even though everyone loves Coffee for his outgoing personality and his off-the-wall ideas, Tea, with his easy-going, compassionate nature is a welcomed friend of many. Drink coffee. Be Tea.

Rules - (if you want to call them that)

  • Make the piece shorter than 1000 words.

  • It could be fiction or non-fiction.

  • You have to somehow in your piece refer to the word given.

Here are some suggestions for you to get going - (or that you can completely ignore)

  1. Talk about how tea won the American Revolution.

  2. Sip a cup of tea while doing this.

  3. Explain in detail how you like your tea.

What I would write with this prompt - (that would probably be wrong) I'd personify Coffee and Tea in a short scene until after I read it, I realize how it would be a stupid short for SNL or another comedy show I don't care for. When I write stuff in my head, it sounds good, but then I see people who I don't know acting out what I wrote and then I regret ever writing. Have a cup of tea. You earned it. (Maybe... I don't know you like that. I am just being nice)

TEA is your one word for today's prompt.

Good luck with your writing. If you don't write anything worth reading for this prompt, remember there is always tea. You can leave your piece in the comment section below, or submit it here
